SecuriGroup Wins Green Apple Award for Sustainability Leadership
November 18, 2025

Recognition for Environmental Excellence

We are delighted to announce that SecuriGroup has received another Green Apple Award, recognising our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility within the security sector.

The award was presented at a ceremony at the House of Lords in London, where Director of Services Kim Brechin and Office Manager Celia Docherty proudly collected the award on behalf of the business.

Receiving this recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of colleagues across SecuriGroup who continue to embed sustainable thinking into every aspect of our operations.

Tackling the Challenge of Uniform Waste

With more than 3,000 colleagues working across the UK, the volume of uniforms required to support our operations is significant. Ensuring these garments are managed responsibly is an important part of reducing our environmental impact.

Through our uniform recycling programme, we have successfully recycled more than two tonnes of uniforms, preventing materials from ending up in landfill and giving them a new purpose. Alongside this, we have introduced garments made from recycled materials, helping to reduce the environmental footprint of our supply chain while maintaining the professional standards our clients expect.

Embedding Sustainability Across Our Business

Our sustainability efforts extend far beyond uniforms. Environmental responsibility is embedded throughout our organisation, influencing decisions around procurement, operations and service delivery.

By working closely with suppliers and partners, we continue to identify opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and make more sustainable choices across our business. This approach ensures that sustainability is not a standalone initiative but an integral part of how we operate every day.

Committed to Meaningful Change

As early signatories of both the Climate Pledge and the Race to Zero campaign, we have made a long-term commitment to reducing emissions and supporting the transition to a more sustainable future.

These commitments reflect our belief that businesses have an important role to play in addressing environmental challenges and creating positive change for future generations. We remain focused on delivering practical, measurable improvements that contribute to our wider environmental goals.

Looking Ahead

While we are incredibly proud to receive this award, we know that sustainability is an ongoing journey. Recognition such as this reinforces our commitment to continually improving, innovating and finding new ways to reduce our environmental impact.

A huge thank you to everyone across SecuriGroup whose efforts have helped make this achievement possible. Together, we are demonstrating that responsible business practices and exceptional security services can go hand in hand.

We are proud to be helping strengthen society while building a more sustainable future for our colleagues, clients and communities.
