At SecuriGroup, our purpose is simple: Strengthening Society. Every day, colleagues across our business make a positive difference through their actions, commitment and dedication to others. While much of this work happens behind the scenes, our annual Strengthening Society Awards provide an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the people and teams who truly embody our values.
This year's awards brought together colleagues from across the UK to celebrate exceptional achievements in service, leadership, innovation, teamwork and community impact. The event recognised those who have gone above and beyond to support clients, colleagues and communities while helping to strengthen society through the work they do every day.
Celebrating Acts of Courage and Service
Some of the most inspiring moments of the awards centred around colleagues whose actions made a real difference to others.
The Outstanding Act of Bravery Award was presented to Jeevan Thakore and Chris Lively, recognising their exceptional courage and professionalism.
The Acts of Service Award was awarded to Suzanne Omer, while the Community Champion Award went to Silas Bogyere in recognition of their positive impact both within and beyond the workplace.
Recognising Outstanding Individuals
The awards also celebrated colleagues who consistently demonstrate excellence in their roles and support those around them.
The Unsung Hero Award was presented to Patryk Kacala and Jackie Templeton, recognising individuals whose contributions often take place behind the scenes but have a significant impact on the success of our business.
The Apprentice of the Year Award was awarded to Erin Burt and Finlay McQuade for their commitment to learning and development.
The Engineer of the Year Award went to Kyle Watret, while Steven Martin was recognised with the Exemplary Attendance Award.

Driving Continuous Improvement

The Continuous Improvement Award was presented to Iain McKai, recognising efforts to enhance the way we work and deliver value for our colleagues and clients.
Celebrating Team Success
While individual achievements are important, the awards also recognised the collective efforts of teams who work together to achieve exceptional results.
This year's Region of the Year Award was awarded to Alpha Support, while Ops Support received the Department of the Year Award for their outstanding contribution to the wider business.
These awards reflect the power of collaboration and highlight how successful outcomes are achieved when people work together towards a common purpose.
Overall Winner
The highlight of the awards was the announcement of the overall Strengthening Society Award winner.
Congratulations to Terrence Rooney, who was named the overall winner in recognition of his exceptional contribution and embodiment of what it means to strengthen society.
The People Behind Our Purpose
The Strengthening Society Awards remind us that our greatest strength lies in our people. Every winner, finalist and nominee represents the professionalism, dedication and values that define SecuriGroup.
To everyone recognised this year, thank you. Your actions continue to make a difference to our clients, colleagues and communities, and together you help bring our purpose of Strengthening Society to life every day.
Congratulations to all of our 2026 winners and finalists. We are incredibly proud of what we have achieved together and look forward to building on that success in the years ahead.
