Front of House Receptionist

This is a customer-facing role based within the Slough premises of a prestigious client. This role is based at the Reception Desk and experience in dealing with enquiries and managing customer expectations is essential. Ideally, the candidate will have a Reception background, the candidate should have excellent administrative & communication skills and experience of facilities management .

The Front of House Receptionist will be responsible for managing all reception tasks, in particular, ensuring that all administrative procedures are compliant.

The candidate should be confident and outgoing with an approachable manner and capable of multi-tasking and prioritising their workload. Experience in a similar work environment is desirable although not essential, as all professional training required will be provided.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting staff and visitors to the building ensuring that all guests and contractors sign in on arrival
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with all staff and contractors on site
  • Responding to email enquiries
  • Managing and updating information on outlook, word and excel documents/reports as required
  • Managing, controlling, and issuing keys key
  • Responsible for Meeting Room bookings
  • Complete staff & visitor searches
  • Ensuring that the key register is up to date and all keys are returned by the end of each day
  • Managing access information and producing staff passcards

  • General administrative work and filing

Hours of work:

08:00-17:15(Mon to Thu),

08:00-12:15 (Friday)

41.25 hours per week
