Front of House Receptionist

Award winning company SecuriGroup is recruiting for a Front of House Receptionist in the Sale area of Manchester.

Main Duties;

  • Collect outgoing post, packages, and other items.
  • Deliver these internally, or frank and bag them up for external mail collection.
  • Deliver urgent items or packages to other businesses, or other offices of their own organisation.
  • Access Control and visitor management
  • Admin duties as and when required.
  • Ensure that all visitors and staff welcomed
  • Meet and greet
  • Issue staff badges
  • Monitor CCTV
  • Answer phones and operative phone system
  • Must be aware of security systems and their employer's procedure to follow if they find a suspicious looking package.    

Other tasks may include:

  • Administrative tasks, such as photocopying, filing, and maintaining
  •  Arranging rooms for meetings and building coordination announcements
  • Receptionist will work 50 hours a week, Monday to Friday 7 - 5. They will start at 7.00am to deal with incoming staff
  • Most of the work is indoors. The receptionist will be based in reception but move around the whole building when delivering or collecting. At your site they may have to collect and deliver items between offices.
  • The work will involve a lot of standing and walking. Trolleys or carts can be used for collection and delivery. The Assistant may also have to lift or carry larger items and equipment.

  • Be able to work without supervision at times, but also work well as part of a team.
  • Be fully aware of relevant security, health, and safety issues.
  • Good IT skills as dealing with word documents and access control systems.
