SIA Stakeholder Conference 2010: Working in the private security sector


SecuriGroup’s managing director, Russel Kerr, was invited to present at The SIA’s Annual Stakeholder Conference at London’s Cavendish Square.  His presentation followed a keynote speech by SIA Chairman Baroness Ruth Henig and was joined on stage afterwards for a plenary session with representatives of Tesco and Mitchells & Butlers.

 

Addressing an audience of 200-plus security professionals, senior police officers, leading academics and many of the sector’s key organisations (including the BSIA, Skills for Security, The Security Institute and the International Professional Security Association), Russel provided a practitioner’s view of working within the private security industry before unveiling the blueprint for a multi-agency approach to tackle serious and organised crime.
