SIA Approved Contractor

The SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme was put in place with the objective of raising performance standards within the industry. SecuriGroup's companies were amongst the first to join the voluntary scheme in 2007 to coincide with the introduction of licensing in Scotland. Russel Kerr, SecuriGroup’s Managing Director was appointed to the ACS Strategy and Standards Committee whose remit is to review and shape the scheme which has already established itself as the hallmark of quality within the industry.

SecuriGroup were awarded the ACS Champion of the Year Award at the Security Excellence Awards. The accolade was in recognition of SecuriGroup's committment to and promotion of the Approved Contractor Scheme amongst the police, local authorities and insurers. The award was presented by the SIA Chairman, Baroness Ruth Henig in October 2009.
